Preparing to host any holiday gathering can be an extremely daunting task but with time, preparation and on call assistance you can throw together any party in a breeze. With Easter only a few short days away, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite sites, decorations and recipes to add to your Easter celebration.
When in doubt, Pinterest it. Seriously, just do it and thank me and the Pinterest gods later. This board here will satisfy your need for everything Easter. Looking at websites like HGTV and Southern Living will also give you great tips and tricks for pulling together beautiful decor and centerpieces, check those articles out here and here.
When it comes to the food you can never go wrong with an oven baked Honey Baked Ham with a pineapple and brown sugar glaze, find that recipe here. But when in doubt, The Pioneer Woman always does best. Having company over is also a great time to find new recipes to try because, well, when else will you try them. Go for light and healthy dishes such as Carrot Soup with Yogurt, and Roasted Fingerling Potatoes and Baby Artichokes here. Go vegan, or gluten free. It’s fun to add new recipes to the traditional favorites to create a truly memorable meal.
The most important thing I keep in mind when hosting any holiday party is to add personal touches. This could mean handmade table arrangements or something as simple as cute personalized place settings. These touches will make your party extra special and unique.
