Minty Green Smoothie

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!

Today, to supplement my lack of Irish heritage I created this mint green smoothie to start of my day on a healthy and festive note.

1 banana

1/2 cup vanilla greek yogurt

coconut pineapple water

1/4 of a lemon’s juice

1/4 tsp peppermint extract

2 fresh mint leaves, chopped

1 heaping handful spinach

As with any smoothie recipe you can customize theĀ ingredients to your specific tastes. Don’t have coconut pineapple water? Add orange juice or coconut milk instead. Want more nutrients? Add chia seeds, protein powder or oats.
